Eating Healthy

Eating Healthy
Hi everyone it's Angela and here with another #tip :3 It's kinda funny since all the girls tip at the same time and there's always that time in the week where the account looks un-active. Well anyway onto the tip c:

~I know it's kinda hard eating healthy but think about the consequences. This includes, acne, gaining fat and not healthy weight, not feeling good about yourself afterwards. See? It's not really good that's why when you see junk food, just say no.

~It's alright to have special treats once in awhile but try not to eat those things almost every day.

~Healthy isn't that bad. It just means that it's good for you and isn't contained with a lot of sugar, oils and fat. So that just means healthy food isn't all greens and vegetables. It also includes smoothies, fruit salads, nuts, etc :3

~Try a healthy diet. Not like a diet that you're going to skip dinner every second day. It's important to not skip meals especially breakfast. A healthy diet could be not eating fake foods. Fake food is kind of like chicken nuggets (I know they're yum aha) but it's not just chicken. It includes lots of mushed up things. It's really yuck. Instead of that try chicken since you know it's not like that.

~Do you want a nice body? I know all of us have been insecure about ourselves at least once in our lives and mostly we're insecure about our bodies. I'm not going to go into that you're beautiful just the way you are! Since it's true but if you want a healthy and nice body you have to do something about it. Complaining about it won't do anything. Start eating right and then you can look at yourself without being sad since you and only you made it happen.

LAST OF ALL, 5+ a day keeps the doctor away ;3 jokes. But seriously healthy food is good for you. It's like friends. There's bad friends and good friends. What would you pick? c:

Till next time,
Angela xo

20 Facts About Starbucks

2) The numbers in number 1 are more of an estimate because Starbucks opens 5 new shops everyday.

3) Over the last 30 years their logo has changed 3 times while keeping the original Starbucks theme.

4) Starbucks sales are better (higher) than McDonalds.

5) Starbucks employs about 137k people.

9) My favorite starbucks snack, the cinnamon chip scone has more calories than a McDonald’s quarter pounder with 480 calories.

10) At $300 million Starbucks spends more on healthcare insurance for its employees than on coffee beans. They offer health insurance to all employees including part-time. That is why I want to work at starbucks! And the fact that I can make myself coffee whenever i want...

18) The logo of Starbucks (the girl with a crown and long locks) has been nicknamed the s!utty mermaid!

19) In 1999, starbucks tried to publish its very own literary magazine called Joe, a convincingly high-brow, well-written, stylish rag that only lasted three issues.

20) STARBUCKS ROCKS! Okay, well you probably already know this, but it is so true1 I go there all the time and it just tastes so good! Adjgldfl['; I just love starbucks!

Persuading your Parents to let you wear Bikinis
Persuading your Parents to let you wear Bikinis

Woah that title is long :o, Tip requested by @gundy91

Do you wanna wear bikinis this summer but there's this one thing that's stopping you? Yeah, your parents permission. :l Here's tips on persuading them to let you wear 'em ahaha. That's so evil though. Okay.

~Ask them why they won't let you. Sorry but my parents don't really mind if I wear them so I don't know reasons on why they wouldn't. If it's something silly that you can prevent or whatever tell them. This might make them change their mind. e.g. Dad: But what if it get's cold? Just wear a one piece! You: There's towels! And more material around my stomach won't keep me any warm!

~Don't be rude of course. You want them to think you're nice and you deserve to wear a bikini. (Deserve might not be the word but yeah)

~If you're out shopping with your parents or just your mum/dad point out the bikinis and say they're nice or something. ESPECIALLY, on your birthday or when they're buying you something aha.

~Tell them reasons why you want to wear one. Maybe all your friends wear them when you go to the beach or you feel like you're older and mature. (Idk bout the last one lol)

~Don't nag them all the time about it. Maybe just leave hints or tell them once every now and then.

Sorry for the short-ish tip. I hope it helps c: oh and HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL OF YOUR LOVELY MUMS! Or should I say mom's aahaha. O's in that are so funny.

Till next Time,
Angela xo

Hey. This was a request from @laurenthellama so I hope this is helpful :3

I'm not going to tell you exactly how to win cause I can't make you win but here's some tips on how to possibley get a good chance of winning.

O.1 - Popularity -
This will help you get more votes and get more people to like you along the way ;3
Just simply say a that's a cute skirt or your jacket is just adorable. People will feel good about themselves and will like you even more :3

O.2 - Participating
Participate in sports and clubs. More people will know you and it will help you get better at things you've never tried before.

O.3 - Campaign
Campaign about your cause and get it noticed. Stick up posters around your school and on peoples lockers. Post it on your facebook and twitter page where people at your school and in your classes will see it.

O.4 - Passion
If you're only gonna put a little bit of work into your election cause then there's no point in even participating in it. Be passionate and keep going - if you don't get many followers, get more - keep trying and never give up in what you want and or believe in.

Surviving Freshman Year ♥

Surviving Freshman Year ♥
Tip requested by, @allisonholloman c:

So some of you are probably starting High School after Summer vacation right? (I'm sorry if I'm wrong because schooling in New Zealand is really different to schooling in America) If not next year in Term 1 some may start in Year 9 like myself c:

Tip 1: Don't be shy. If you're shy many people will avoid you and that means no friends. It'd be nice to be with a group of friends throughout the next few years you'll be at your new school. If some friends are already going to your school it's cool to still be friends with them but it's another experience to make new friends c:

Tip 2: Participate and join clubs and groups. Another way to make new friends :3 and a way to find out what you wanna do.

Tip 3: STUDY. Don't procasinate like me. Ooops. :l Go do your homework. And the best way for me to be focused is to not use anything like polyvore, twitter, facebook. This distracts you and won't let you finish your work for the day after.

Tip 4: Wear something that'll make you stand out and make you noticible. I'm not saying wear all orange or something but maybe if you're a fan of One Direction wear a top so others directioners notice you and yaay! Fangirl buddies. If not, since you have a uniform like me :'( Spice it up a bit if you're allowed or make it look neat and not like you haven't showered for the past week.

Tip 5: Have good hygeine so people don't talk about you behind you're back about how bad you smell.

Tip 6: Be friendly, no one wants to be that mean girl who bosses everyone around and thinks they're all that. And trust me, in every school there's probably gonna be those group of girls who think they're like the plastics.

Tip 7: If you have to take the bus, train, walk, whatever to school always remember to get up early and have an alarm that'll work aha. Oh and get enough sleep so you're ready for the next school day.

I know this school year will be hard but try to do your best, put a smile on your face, be confident! It's exactly like starting over again and if you want even play music to help you like Fifteen by T Swizzy. I'm pretty sure it's like 'Walking through the doors on your first day' bleh. I forgot but it's about that and yeah. Have an amazing freshman year and I hope this helps. I'm pretty sure if I do this tip again when I start high school I'll have actual experience to talk about aha.

Peace out ;3
Angela xo

P.S @icecream123456 can you please not use my requests. I know you already made the tip which is great btw, but if you want requests for you to tip please don't take mine and make your own set on them. Sorry. x

DIYs for Mother's Day!
Okay, so mother's day is coming up, and I know that I have been scrambling to find a quick diy gift for my momma. Now, these are just a few cute ones that I love! Here we go :)

♥10 Things I Love About You
Instructions:
1) By scrapbook paper or 11 index cards that have cute designs on them. IF USING SCRAPBOOK PAPER, CUT PAPER DOWN THE SIZE OF INDEX CARDS!

2) Punch wholes in the top left hand corner off all ten cards.

3) Number each card in the top right hand corner.

4) On each card, write something you love about your momma.

5) Make a cover card. Put something on it like "The 10 Things I Love about You Are..." Add flowers and stickers and such.

6) Take a piece of ribbon (or a binder clasp/jump ring) and tie the cards together.

7) You are done! Give this cute gift to your momma now :)

♥Chocolate Dipped Brownies
Instrctions:
1) Gather ingredients. These ingredients are 3/4 cup (150 g/5 oz) sugar, 1/3 cup butter (75 g/2.5 oz), cubed, 2 tablespoons (30 mL) water, 4 cups (685 g/24 oz) semisweet chocolate chips, divided (Premium chocolate for 2 cups dipping portion), 1 teaspoon (5 mL) vanilla extract, 2 eggs, 3/4 cup (100 g) all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 mL) salt, 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 mL) baking soda, 2 tablespoons (30 mL) shortening, Chopped pecans, jimmies, and/or nonpareils (optional)

2) In a large saucepan, bring the sugar, butter, and water to a boil over medium heat. Remove from the heat; stir in 1 cup of chocolate chip and vanilla until smooth. Cool for 5 minutes.

3) Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine the flour, salt, and baking soda; stir into chocolate mixture. Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips. Pour into a greased 9-inch square baking pan.

4) Bake at 325°F for 35 minutes or until set (see my note below). Cool completely on a wire rack. Place in the freezer for 30-40 minutes or until firm (do not freeze completely). Cut into bars.

5) In a microwave-safe bowl, melt remaining chips with shortening; stir until smooth. Using a small fork, dip brownies to completely coat; shake off excess. Place on waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Sprinkle with pecan, jimmies and/or nonpareils. Let stand until set. Store in an airtight container.

*Dipping Bars in Chocolate*

~Melt the chocolate chips, baking chocolate or candy coating according to recipe directions. If necessary, transfer chocolate to a narrow container.

~To cover an entire bar in chocolate, use two forks to dip the bar into the chocolate and lift up. Gently shake the bar to remove excess chocolate. Place on a waxed-paper lined baking sheet to set at room temperature.

~If the chocolate cools too much to the bars properly, rewarm and continue dipping.

This Delicious treat is done! Go serve them to your momma!

♥Scrabble Coasters
Instructions:
1) Get Scrabble board and super strong glue.

2) Dump out letters and spell 4 letter food words. One coaster needs 4 words, or 16 letters.

3) Glue each word together; they should look like this http://inhabitat.com/diy-make-your-own-scrabble-coasters/scrabble-coasters-2/

4) Take a paint brush and put a final coat of glue over the coasters. Let dry.

5) You have finished this cute project! Serve your momma a coffee on one of these fine coasters!

♥Body Oil
Instructions:
1) Gather your ingredients which are 1 tablespoon dried lavender buds, 1/2 cup sweet, almond oil (or safflower oil), 5 drops lavender essential oil.

2) Place lavender and oil in heavy pan and stir to combine. Heat over low heat until the oil is warm. Don’t let it come to a boil. Once the oil is warm. Remove from heat and leave to cool.

3)While the oil is cooling, make the sugar scrub; you will strain the lavender buds out and add the essential oil at the end.

3) If you don't get distracted easily, you can mix up the scrub while the oil is warming. If you do, just be sure to watch the oil so it doesn’t boil.

4) You are done! Put this in a cute little bottle or jar and hand it to your momma!

♥Lavender Salt Bath Bags
Instructions:
1) Gather your ingredients which are 1/4 cup dried lavender buds, 2 tablespoons salt (Epsom salt, sea salt or table salt), 2 small cotton or muslin drawstring bags or two squares of cloth and elastic bands, Optional extra: add 1 tablespoon ground oats and/or 1 teaspoon grated soap in each bag.

2)If you have not done so already, spoon 1/8 cup of lavender buds and 1 tablespoon of salt into each bag. Add any optional extras now.

3) Tighten the drawstring on the bags and set aside.

4) If you do not have cotton bags, cut out a square of muslin or cotton fabric and place herbs and salt in the center. Fold up the sides and secure with a rubber band.

5) You have completed this project1 Give these little bags to your momma now :)

Well, I hope that helps you all out! I am making the brownies and scrabble coasters! All of these projects are really cool to me :) Even a homemade card is great! Your momma will love anything that you hand make.

Love yaaa,
Shannon♥
